Word of Life Final Ministry Update

Hey everyone!

It’s hard to believe, but my ministry with Word of Life has come to an end. It has been a wonderful five years working here on staff in addition to my year as a student. So much has happened since I first made the drive up to Word of Life almost six years ago. Back then, I didn’t know at all what to expect. Now, I can say that this place has been an absolute blessing from God. The memories made here and the wonderful friendships I have developed are invaluable. I am very thankful that God gave me the opportunity to be involved in a ministry that is passionate about seeing young people come to Christ and grow in their faith.

I want to say a BIG Thank You to everyone who has supported me in this chapter of my life. Whether it has been through financial support, prayer, a listening ear, an encouraging word, I am very grateful for you. There is nothing like the family of God loving and supporting one another and showing a beautiful example of God’s love for each one of us.

Looking ahead, I will be staying in the area for the time being and continuing to attend my local church. I’m excited for the opportunities I will have to continue to minister to and pour into others in the church. I would also like to finish up my Bachelor’s degree for which all I have yet to complete is an internship, so in the coming month, I will be trying to figure out this process of where to do the internship. Please pray that the opportunity would arise for this to happen and that I would have wisdom and success in seeking this out. Beyond that, I’m not sure what the future holds, but I want to keep seeking after God and developing my relationship with Him and love others whatever I do and wherever I go.

Please pray for me for:

• Wisdom, guidance and courage for next steps moving forward.
• My relationship with God: peace, trust, humility, satisfaction in Him.
• Rest and a mental recharge.
• Faith and trust in God’s plan and purposes.

I thought that since this is my final update, I would end things off with a quote and a few Bible verses. I often like to view life as a journey and the following reminds me that I am not alone and that I have everything I need to live a purposeful and God-glorifying life as I go in His calling to make disciples.
